Dial-Up Support Windows 2000 Dial-Up Set-Up
Manual Set Up
Double click on My Network Places.
Double click on Make New Connection.
Click Next.
Select Dial-Up to the Internet is selected.
Click Next.
Select I want to set up my Internet connection
manually, or I want to connect through a local area network [LAN].
Click Next.
Select I connect through a phone
line and a modem.
Click Next.
Enter your local ISP phone number.
Enter your User name and Password.
For Connection Name, enter “Arrival”.
Click Next.
Select No. Click Next.
Click Finish to complete the setup process.
Double-click the connection you just created.
User name and Password should be populated. Click Dial.
